Sea level rise is so steady that it’s difficult to cherry pick short periods where sea level isn’t rising. That doesn’t stop them from trying though!
In fact, the reality of sea level rise is so undeniable that the more common cranky uncle response is to move the goalposts and claim that sea level rise isn’t accelerating.
