Now that the Teachers’ Guide to Cranky Uncle is available, and the Android & iPhone games let students play with group codes, teachers across the U.S. (not to mention the rest of the world) are already signing up to use Cranky Uncle in their classes. Here is a map of U.S. colleges (red) and middle/high schools (blue) that have signed up so far:
While the bulk of sign-ups are from the U.S., we’re also seeing teachers from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, India, Singapore, and the UK. Note to all the teachers from non-English speaking countries – yes, we are planning to release a multi-lingual version of the game later this year. Anyone interested in helping with translation efforts, please contact me.
Obviously it’s early days (the Teachers’ Guide and group code only came this week) and would love to hear from more teachers (particularly the empty parts of the map such as Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, etc). Educators can sign up for a group code via http://sks.to/crankyclass.
